Clarisse Valbon
Clarisse Valbon
Native of Paris, Clarisse Valbon began violin studies with Nathalie Klein Saint-Arroman then Nicolas Fromageot. She performed with several symphonic orchestras and chamber music ensembles in France and primarily focused on classical and romantic repertoires. She graduated in Musicology from Sorbonne University in Paris. In parallel she studied composition with Denis Bosse and harmony with Alain Besson. Several of her recent pieces were premiered at Carnegie Hall (“A Travers l’Aube”, “Echos”, ”Oasis”). For her, composing is the space for experimentation and expression of feelings, a way to say what cannot be said.
