Description: Parlen les dones (Women speak) for mezzo, SATB choir, and chamber orchestra, commissioned by the El Cor Canta, was premiered on March 5, 2023 at L’Auditori of Barcelona, and on March 11 at the Auditori Enric Granados (Lerida). The premiere was performed by El Cor Canta, Orquestra de Cambra Terrassa 48. and mezzo soprano Marta Infante. Parlen les dones is based on four poems by Catalan author Montserrat Abelló. The group El Cor Canta consists of 150 amateur singers that work with various professional chamber orchestras and soloists, conducted by Elisenda Carrasco i Eva Martínez.
