Description: Commissioned by the Canadian Art Song Project for Magali Simard-Galdès, this cycle is a kind of contemplation of what it means to be a mortal being who exists in time. It moves backward in time, from Dusk, to mid-day, to Daybreak, and the texts of each movement present a different experience of being in time.
