Seed Money Grant Recipient, pianist, and composer Amy Wurtz is hosting a special online concert series throughout March in celebration of Women’s History Month! This year, Amy’s project features 16 composers from New York Women Composers, showcasing their music and artistic voices across daily YouTube broadcasts.

Amy launched this project in 2023 as a way to highlight the music of women composers—both past and present—throughout the entire month of March. The series not only introduces listeners to underrecognized composers but also fosters lasting engagement through its YouTube archive and live performances. This year’s project will culminate in a live concert on April 19, 2025, in New York City, featuring an audience-voted selection of works from the month.
