“Nu Elements” | Nu Quintet

2025 Seed Money Grant recipient, Nu Quintet, will be putting on “Nu Elements” at St. John’s in the Village in NYC, on May 23rd, 2026.
The program will include works by:
- Whitney George: “To Hold My Head High Above Water”
- Beata Moon: “Earthshine”
- Chen Yi: “Feng”

Nu Quintet was formed to establish a Nu tradition that celebrates and expands the wind quintet by reimagining repertoire, performance, and the classical music culture.
Nu is dedicated to creating a new and accessible atmosphere for new classical music to uplift new composers and to be enjoyed by different communities.
