New York Women Composers invites you to save the date for our sixth annual Gala and Silent Auction, Metropolitan Harmonies. The event will be held at FiDi Creatives on October 21st, 2026. The night of music will fundraise for NYWC’s programs, such as the Seed Money Grant.

This year’s honoree will be pianist, music educator, musicologist, and radio host of “Classical Discoveries” on WPRB, Dr. Marvin Rosen. NYWC is proud to honor Dr. Rosen for his passion and dedication to platforming women composers.

The Gala will have performances by Jeanne Velonis, Seed Money Grant recipients, Skyline Bones, and a special performance and radio show by our honoree, Dr. Marvin Rosen. The concert program will be announced soon.

The Silent Auction will give guests a chance to bid on items ranging from local cultural memberships to theatre tickets and fine gifts.
