2022 Seed Money Grant Recipient Donna Weng Friedman, who just performed at the New York Women Composers Gala, will be presenting two concerts this month in New York City. The first concert is presented by Bargemusic, the second by Steinway Hall. Details are below.

Created with STEINWAY Teacher & Educational Partners in mind, this concert features gorgeous music composed by Beata Moon, Julie Mandel, Kim D. Sherman, Niloufar Nourbakhsh, and Stefania de Kenessey, with poetry recited by Diana Solomon-Glover.
Much of this music was composed for tween/teen piano students, an often-neglected age group especially when it comes to new music.
The performance will be followed by a panel discussion with the composers and pianist, led by Jed Distler, radio host of Between the Keys.
